Located in Cape Town, South Africa, this is a castle. This old haunted castle is standing since the 17th century and was built by Dutch East India Company. This castle is known as the oldest build right now in South Africa. The first ghostly activity was seen in the early 20th century on record. It was a tall gentleman who fell from the roof and then was seen standing in the balcony. After some years, some people saw a grey lady running and crying hard. This castle was once owned by the King Henry IV of France who later gifted it Charles II. It was a thank you gift for being loyal. But later on, there happened a murder just like most haunted castles or houses. Charlotte was a lady who was married to a noble person. They weren’t happy nor they were disturbed by their marriage. They were just living without any love and one-night servant woke his Lord and tell that Charlotte is sleeping with her lover.
Charlotte’s husband killed her and then every morning he heard voices of her and her lovers moaning. It is said that Charlotte has been seen many times in a green dress in which she was brutally killed. However, currently the royal family who lives in the Castle say that they hear voices of Charlotte crying but they ignore it. But the guests who come feel quite uncomfortable and afraid.

This castle is known as the most haunted place of Norway. This huge fortress or castle is located by the Oslo Harbor. It was built in the 13th century after an attack. This fortress size is equal to almost 13 football fields. In the past, it was used for the battles. Akershus survived 8 attacks from Swedish army staying in this castle. A ghost dog named Malcanisen is famous and also there are rumors of many ghostly soldiers in the underground dungeons.
